The Oregon Association of Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors (OAPHCC) would like to extend an invitation to you to become a member of the Association. We are a united voice on issues that affect PHC contractors. Our purpose is to assist PHC contractors in running a successful business and to make positive changes and advances in the industry.
Through the collective power of PHC contractors like yourself, OAPHCC is already fighting for your rights with regulatory agencies (Building Codes Division, OSHA, etc.) and in the legislature. We have made great progress and inroads these past several years. We have retained the UPC Plumbing Code in the One- and Two-Family Dwelling Code, and passed legislation that would allow certain minor repairs not to require permits or inspections. We also worked with the Building Code Division and other interested groups on Senate Bill 35, which takes the State of the inspection process and gives the responsibility to counties and cities.
